Sabrina and Chris’ Villa Antonia Wedding

Enjoy this article about The Canyon’s Early Autumn Wedding at Villa Antonia. Villa Antonia is an Austin Wedding venue known for its breathtaking hill country views & touch of Italy in the heart of Texas.

Like many early fall weddings here in Texas, Sabrina and Chris’ weddingday began with the perfect weather. I met Chris in his suit, having just hung up his classic black suit and handing out gifts to his best friends as they arrived. Chris hand-made bowties for each one of his groomsmen that perfectly compliments the Sabrina’s bridesmaid dresses. The morning was full of so much positivity and laughter shared amongst family & friends.

Their ceremony followed, taking place out in the courtyard overlooking Texas Hill Country. Dappled sunlight sparkled through the trees and gave both Sabrina and Chris the most beautiful glow. Their ceremony had many personal touches; One moment that stood out was having their rings pass by every guest for a small blessing before exchanging vows. Life is so special when you get to share it with others, so to have a small blessing from their most loved ones as they began their journey together was beautiful.

After the mushy-gushy stuff comes time for the party! Sabrina and Chris had cocktails available for guests as they explored the beautiful courtyard. Villa Antonia made it on my Austin’s Best Wedding Venues list because of the flexibility this beautiful venue offers. To go from one moment under the trees looking over the hills, to enjoying a string-lit courtyard is so special! Each area of the day offered a new vibe and beautiful moments for the guests.

During the mingling, we snuck away with The Canyons (their new chosen married last name!) to steal some beautiful sunset portraits and enjoy a private moment. The rest of the night was spent laughing, dancing, hugging, singing, and there might have even been a choreographed dance moment! Sabrina and Chris called everyone to the dance floor to sing “We Are Family” and celebrate the new union!
