Jackie and Derek’s Vibrant + Fun Austin Texas Couple’s Photo Session

South Congress is considered a staple to Austin. It’s changed over the years, evolving and growing along with the city. However it always remains a center of all kinds of art, the cutest cocktails, and shows off a beautiful view of Austin. I love that as you walk down the street, you hear live music pouring out of all the different bars. The cool beats bumping out of the speakers from the street vendors fills up the sidewalk with so much energy. Not to mention, my favorite pizza in the world Homeslice. Walking dover the bridge and watching the bats fly off for the first time was one of my favorite memories. For all these reasons + more, SoCo (South Congress) always makes it onto my list of the best Austin photo locations!

Our session together was so much fun. The happy vibrant energy matched these two so well- Jackie and Derek are both so happy a full of life together. I adored getting to know them and capture their time here in ATX! We began by grabbing some drinks together at the South Congress Hotel’s bar. From there we hit up the deco walls around the streets, climbed to the top of a parking garage for some sunshine, ate pizza at Homeslice and then finished off by dancing under the string lights at night!
