East Fork Lake Engagement Session

From the gentle sound of the water washing the sand, to the gentle breeze through the trees, East Fork Lake was a perfect place to capture the love + beauty of Claire and Garret. Walking along the beach watching families swim and play reminds you of how lucky we are to have someone we love so much in our life, and we are so happy to be sharing this engagement session with you.

We started with a lovely walk down to a secluded area of East Fork Lake beach for their session, away from the parking lot until we were almost on an island, with fallen trees and soft sand. You would have thought we were photographing somewhere on the coast, but we were right in Ohio’s backyard.

Claire and Garret were the absolute dream couple. They were fun, playful, and most importantly in love. It was clear to see as we popped a bottle of Champagne, walked barefoot half a mile, watched them slow dance to Purple Rain, and waited for the gorgeous sun to finally set on the lake to get that perfect lighting.

Naturally we all ended up in the water and we cannot be grateful enough that they put up with all of our shenanigans, which included sitting down in knee deep water. Thank you again Claire and Garret! We ended the day full of smiles, love, and beautiful photos which will be below for you to enjoy.

We absolutely LOVE East Fork Lake and recommend anyone to go there. Whether it is a family trip, a hot date, or just some relaxing you time, its the perfect place to take stock in life and remember what’s important to you.
