Today I am so excited to share more about Ana and Abel’s intimate Mayfield Garden wedding. Mayfield Cottage and Gardens is a beautiful park located right here in Austin that hosts some beautiful plants and animals- including peacocks! These two had their intimate ceremony in front of the ponds surrounded by their very closest family (and friends that are like family). Right as they had their first kiss, the peacocks all started chiming in with the cheering! From the evening golden glow of the sun tracing the palms trees to the pond fish coming up to give their well wishes, this venue feels like pure magic.
Interested in planning a mayfield garden wedding? Here I have included lots of important information, along with direct links to their site. Mayfield cottage and gardens lists on their website that they can accommodate up to 45 guests inside the cottage for an event. If you are using the cottage + outside grounds, you can have up to 100! It is very important to stick to venue occupancy limits because of fire safety. Making a reservation at the park gives you the entire area within the rock wall completely to yourselves. The best news is this place is a great deal. You can view their specific pricing by clicking here. 2 hour reservations of the gardens are just $350 total! However, the nature preserve outside remains open to the public. For more information about having your elopement or wedding at Mayfield Cottage and Gardens, you can visit their website here.
At the end of each of my blogs, I like to include some information about the package the couple booked. I believe this will help you determine what coverage is best for you! Each wedding day is different. Usually, no two days are exactly the same. That said, I know many couples feel overwhelmed by all the options. I hope these details will help!
This couple booked me for 2 hours of wedding photography at Mayfield Gardens. In this time, I was able to cover some documentary photos of their guests mingling, the ceremony from beginning to end, formal family group photographs after the ceremony, and couple’s photographs of the two exploring the gardens!
If you enjoyed this blog, you may want to check out some others I have put together. I have a guide to the BEST elopement locations in Austin Texas. If you want a different outdoor venue option, check out this wedding at Bear Creek Retreat in Austin. If you’re searching for a photographer for your wedding or elopement, I have good news; I offer that! All the photographs in this blog are mine. If you enjoyed these, I’d love to talk more with you about how I can be a part of documenting your special day. You can click the ‘contact’ button on the menu.
