Austin Proposal with Jordan and Kelsey

I am so excited to share this beautiful proposal at Omni Barton Creek Resort just outside Austin Texas on the blog today.

Jordan called me a few weeks before her upcoming trip with her then girlfriend (Now fiancée!) Jordan and told me that she wanted to create a romantic surprise proposal during their time in Austin. As we spoke, she shared details about how they were such kindred souls, their intense love not only of reach other but for life, and how important it was to Jordan to make this moment so special for the love of her life Kelsey. With each story I became more and more excited to be a part of their special moment. Luckily the resort they were staying at, Omni Barton Creek, was absolutely incredible at working with me to location scout some scenic locations for the proposal. Soon, there was a solid game plan and we were ready for the day to come!

We unfortunately hit a stroke of bad luck as the proposal approached. Not one, but TWO picnic companies cancelled last minute. A huge cold front also blew in that week as well. Luckily, Jordan was such a great planner and packed a beautiful picnic and tarot card reading for them. The sun popped out just in time for Jordan to get on one knee. Everything went absolutely perfect from there.

As if the sunset surprise proposal wasn’t already amazing, Jordan had secretly arranged a dinner with their closest family and friends afterwards . It was so much fun to photograph a second surprise! I absolutely adore these two. Jordan and Kelsey, thank you for letting me share a part of your journey with you. Congratulations to you both again 🙂
