Cabrillo Monument Wedding in San Diego California

I am still blown away by how lovely this wedding day at the Cabrillo Monument is. Perfectly positioned to watch the sun set each day, to the rooftop reception in the heart of Ocean Beach. From the panoramic view of both downtown San Diego and to the carved ocean cliffs. This San Diego wedding day was the perfect example of all the beauty that eloping by the California coast has to offer.

Patrick grew up in San Diego, California. Though Hannah and Patrick now call Indiana their home (also the home base of Patrick’s tattoo studio, Scars and Stories), they wanted to bring their wedding celebration out closer to Patrick’s home town.

Hannah and I are friends, and I have known her for years now. I find it hard to put it into words how happy I am to see her so happy. Hannah and Patrick’s families welcomed me as a part of their family and we all celebrated the beautiful life these two have together. I can’t think of a favorite moment of this day, but I know as I sat drinking out of coconut glasses with these two that my dear friend was living her own fairytale.
