This is my first year doing an end of year recap, and I’ll be honest it was so much fun to reflect over the year. It was another year of chaos; reschedules, restrictions, adjustments, plans a-z exhausted, and more. Despite the uncertainty our year brought us, there were still so many beautiful moments created.
Families came together after not seeing each other for 12+ months, marriages were finally celebrated after a veeeerry long planning process. It was a year that everything felt a little deeper. I’m a silver-lining person and while I would never try to pretend that COVID is a good thing, I am grateful for the way it has made me appreciate human connection a little more.
This year was a year of growth for myself, both personal and business wise. The last 6 years of shooting weddings have been so wonderful and I am so grateful for the love + support I have received over the last few years. I stepped into a more educational role (hosting my first, and second retreat all in the same year), grew our local photographer community, and worked hard on improving my technical skill in the field. I became the go-to photographer for the school I grew up at, which was something I dreamed of for years now and is truly the greatest honor.
And now, I am so excited to share a little highlight reel of all that 2021 brought me. I hope you enjoy these little moments as much as we all did.
*without further ado, drumroll please…
