A Hocking Hills Elopement- Looking for to have an elopement in Ohio that isn’t the courthouse, but have no clue where to begin? If you’re more of the outdoorsy type, and would rather say your vows under a waterfall than in between four walls then I say why not elope in Hocking Hills? Filled with lush green forests, sandstone caves, beautiful waterfalls and a variety of trails, it truly can create the perfect experience on your special day.
A Hocking Hills Elopement in March
Who would have guessed March was the perfect time to plan an elopement in Hocking Hills? We were pleasantly surprised to find that Hocking Hills (an easy drive from either Cincinnati or Columbus) was hiding an oasis of blooming ferns, moss, trees and flowing water. Hocking Hills is considered one of Ohio’s best hidden gems already for its stunning sandstone-lined waterfalls. When you make the adventure over to a less traveled part called Conkle’s Hollow you will once again feeling cheated that you hadn’t explored this place sooner. For exactly that reason, Conkle’s Hollow is where we chose to host our Hocking Hills elopement. The amazing part of elopements is they are all about what you and your partner want. This means you can have a million details, vendors, and guests- or you can simply have none. When putting this stylized elopement together, we knew we wanted floral design involved because they are what I believe really elevate your experience and allows you an extra pop of your personality into the day. Insert Kaylee with Love Florish in Columbus. We gave Kaylee complete creative freedom- and with that, she put together a stunning bouquet filled with pops of color that truly complimented the earthy feel of the day. Another vendor who happily came on board and was so inspiring with their creativity + artistic direction was Naomi with Rapunzel’s’ Radiance. She was so friendly and helped make Rachel feel ready to take on a day of love, laughter and waterfalls with her fiance with the perfect hair and make up to match! Both of these vendors helped make this day truly special and if you’re looking for amazing Columbus creatives to help with you next event, you should check them out! Don’t just take my words for it- Que up your favorite waterfall related song (we already know TLC’s should be stuck in your head by now) and get ready to scroll through these photos + video of their beautiful Hocking Hills elopement!
